From Gospel Translations
When articles are first translated, they are always marked with a tag that indicates they need to be reviewed. On this wiki, there are two levels of review that take place, which is detailed on the translation status page.
What you learn to do here is conduct a Peer Review. By doing this, you make the job on our official editors much easier, because you'll probably catch most of the mistakes that they would have to correct. Here's what to look for when you peer review an article:
- Are the ideas of the original version accurately translated?
- Is the translation well-written and easy to understand?
- Does the translation's formatting match the English version?
- Does the translation conform to the glossary, if there is one?
- Does the translation use the approved Bible translation, if there is one?
Once you correct any errors you find in those five categories, you're done! Just contact Charissa with the name of the article you reviewed, and she'll make sure your work is noted.
